Mike Phillips, the Executive Director of TESF, was interviewed for the award-winning short documentary, Red Wolf Revival. The film tells the story of the last remaining wild population of red wolves. Centered on the historic recovery effort in Eastern North Carolina, it documents the multifaceted struggle to reintroduce one of the rarest animals on earth in the face of cultural, economic, and biological challenges in North Carolina.

Mike Phillips has played a key role in wolf conservation and recovery throughout his career and, from 1986–1994, he served as the Field Coordinator for the Red Wolf Recovery Program.
