Mike Phillips was interviewed by Kira Sadler, the program director for Voices for Biodiversity, a digital community that believes humanity’s health depends upon the health of other species.

Mike talked to Kira about his inspiration for entering the conservation field (including a black-and-white National Geographic special on grizzly bears in Yellowstone), his work as a groundbreaking politician in the Montana state legislature, and why restoration is an alternative to extinction.
